Margaret Wright

Margaret Dayhoff Wright, age 95, of Mt. Airy , MD died Friday October 26, 2007 at Carroll Hospice-Dove House in Westminster , MD. She was the wife of the late Ralph D. Wright. She was the daughter of the late Granville Dayhoff and the late Blanche Esworthy Dayhoff. She was born September 12, 1912 in Frederick County, MD. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren for over 75 years, where she was very active and taught Sunday School. Over 50 years of Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of Mt. Airy Senior Center , and member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Mt. Airy . She was a Leader in the Girl Scouts in Mt. Airy . She was the mother of daughter-Betty J. Beutgen and husband Josef of FL, daughter-Shelva J. Burdette and devoted friend John of Frederick and daughter-Sharon Franklin and husband Robert of Mt. Airy, MD, and the late Robert Dayhoff. Sister of late Thelma Smith, late Dena Wright, late Gladys Merryman, late Anna Garman and the late Walter Dayhoff. She was also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by granddaughter Teresa Burdette. Interment Locust Grove Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Mt. Airy, MD. Family will receive friends at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday October 30, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, 13356 Glissans Mill Road , Mt. Airy , MD 21771 with the Rev.
