Marian Balough

Marian Rose Balough (nee Balzer), age 98, of Sykesville, died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at Carroll Hospice, Inc., Dove house in Westminster, MD. She was born October 17, 1913 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Joseph P. Balzer and late Catherine Inglehart Balzer. She was the wife of the late John E. Balough. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Howard Park Garden Club and raised prize winning roses. She was a member of the Senior Club of Randallstown. She was the mother of Patricia Ann Davis and husband Brooks of Sykesville. She was grandmother of Bill P. Davis, Thomas J. Davis and wife Jody; great grandsons-Brett N. Davis and Jake M. Stepp. Predeceased by sister Dorothy M. Balzer and grandson Bruce A. Miller. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Wednesday from 5-7 PM. Funeral Liturgy (MASS) will be held Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 10:00 AM at St. John’s R.C. Church, 43 Monroe Street, Westminster with Fr. Louis Bianco officiating. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Woodlawn, MD.
