Marianna Marken

Marianna K. Garrity Marken, 67 of Mt. Airy , MD , died Suddenly Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Frederick Memorial Hospital . She was the spouse of Jack Gordon Marken of Mt. Airy , MD She was born December 23, 1939 in Pottsville , PA the daughter of the late Richard and late Marion Garrity. Mrs. Marken was a homemaker and was formerly a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph ’s Hospital. She was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Past President of Glenwood Garden Club, Loved Gardening, Antiques and Traveling. Surviving in addition to her husband are Son and Daughter-in-law Jeffery and Toni Marken of Westminster , Daughter and Son-in-law Kathy and Jamie Makers of Mt. Airy. Brother; Bill Garrity of Minersville , PA. Grandchildren: Nicole Marken, Kaitlyn Makers, Danny Marken and Jack Makers. Preceded in death by brothers: Richard and Tony Garrity. A Funeral Liturgy will be said on Wednesday June 20, 2007, 10:30 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church, Sappington Hall, 9201 Church St. Libertytown , MD 21762 with Fr. John Dietzenbach officiating. Interment will be in the St. Peters Cemetery . The Family will receive friends at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd.
