Marie Fertitta Smith, 82 of Cooper Ridge Retirement Community formerly of Randallstown, MD, died Sunday July 10, 2005 at Copper Ridge.
She was the spouse of the late Samuel Fertitta and also the spouse of her second husband the late Philip Smith. She was born June 10, 1923 in Cefalu , Sicily the daughter of the late Thomas and Francesca Curro Lascuola. She was a homemaker.
Surviving are Daughter: Caterina Grove of Reisterstown, Daughter: Francessca Metheny of Hanover, Daughter: Phyllis Teal of Reisterstown, Son: Phillip Fertitta of Reisterstown, Son: Thomas Fertitta of Reisterstown. Grandchildren: Janine Szokoly, Lucinda Grove, Daniel Grove, Thomas Metheny, Tara Fornaro, Jessica Teal, Ashley Fertitta, Samantha Fertitta, Brayden Fertitta, Matthew Fertitta and Rebecca Fertitta.
Great-Grandchildren: Athena Dahl , Alexander Szokoly, Christopher Metheny, Travis Metheny, Maya Fornaro, Ryan Fornaro. Also Survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and a close friend Marty Resnick.
Services will be conducted on Thursday July 14, 2005 11 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield , MD 21784 . Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park , Sykesville , MD
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM
