Marie Blevins Smith, 89, of Sykesville, died June 4, 2014 at her home.
She was born August 21, 1924 in Crumpler, West Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Daniel Blevins and late Maggie Young Blevins.
She was the wife of the late William Albert Smith.
She was a member of Faith Family Church in Gamber, Maryland. She worked at Black & Decker for 38 years. Love spending time with her family. Enjoy canning; crocheting, and watching her TV games, loved her Baltimore Orioles.
Surviving are sons John and Betty Smith of Westminster, Charles Edward Smith of Monroe, New York, and Ronald and Deanna Smith of Gettysburg, PA., surviving are daughters Janet and Paul Willhide of Eastover, North Carolina, Mildred and Dale Webb of Sykesville, and Dorothy and John Poole of Sykesville., also survived by 6 sisters and 1 brother and 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Predeceased by one grandson Paul David Willhide and one brother and one sister.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Sunday 3-5 PM, Monday from 2-4PM and 6-8 PM; and Tuesday June 10, 2014 from 11:00-12:00 at the church; Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at 12:00 NOON at Faith Family Church, 4150 Sykesville Road, Finksburg, MD 21048 with Pastor Paul Andrews officiating.
