Died Saturday, January 7, 2017.
He was born November 28, 1957 in Montgomery County, MD the son of George P. Woodfield, Jr and Doris M. (Lewis) Woodfield.
Mark was retired from Safeway as a Store Director with over 40 years of service. He grew up in Mt. Airy, MD where he was a member of Boy Scout Troop 460 and hiked the Appalachian Trail. He was a Harley Davidson Motorcycle enthusiast, enjoyed traveling, hiking, mountain biking, live music and the beach. He played the guitar. Mark was also a member of a Sr. Softball League, in Murrells Inlet, playing 2nd base and right field.
Surviving him in addition to his parents are Daughters and their spouses Sara J. and Michael Wink of New Windsor and Brittany M. and Zachary Baker of New Windsor. Sister and brother-in-law Marti and Robert King of Walkersville. Four Granddaughters Gabrielle, Alexandra, Reese and Quinn all of New Windsor. Niece Ashley King of Walkersville. Also survived by previous wife Jenny Woodfield and her children. He is predeceased by Grandparents George P. Woodfield, Sr., Edith Odessa Burdette Woodfield, Eugene Francis Lewis, and Linda Amelia Bennett Lewis.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 13, 2017 6 to 9 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 14, 2017 10 AM. Inurnment at a later date in Pine Grove Cemetery, Mt. Airy.
