Martin Geelhaar
July 2, 1959 — November 27, 2024
Martin Paul “Marty” Geelhaar, 65, of Eldersburg, Maryland, formerly of Randallstown, Maryland, passed away suddenly in his sleep on November 27, 2024, at his home.
Marty was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 2, 1959, the son of the late William Russell Geelhaar Jr. and the late Margaret Jewel Geelhaar (nee Tucker).
He was the beloved husband of Holly H. Geelhaar (nee Hubbard) his wife of over 26 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughter Morgan A. Geelhaar, son Carson P. Geelhaar, siblings Kimberly Ruby, William R. Geelhaar III, Lori Cunningham and companion John Speicher, a niece, nephews and late siblings Garry Joseph Geelhaar and Richard A. “Ricky” Geelhaar.
Marty was a dedicated family man, especially to his wife and children, and loved by many friends and colleagues. He was a custom kitchen installer for Stu Dettelbach of SD Kitchens, as well as others, for over 47 years. During that time, he met many lifelong clients for whom he worked as well as their children. Marty was also very fond of animals especially our family labrador, Hemmi, his late adored Norwegian Elkhound, Luigi, and all the other horses and pets that were part of his four-legged extended family.
Marty was a graduate of Randallstown High School and parishioner of Holy Family Church.
Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, February 2, 2024, from 1 to 4 PM at Lakeshore Clubhouse at Quarry Lake 2525 Quarry Lake Dr, Baltimore, MD 21209.
