Mary Joan Arnold (nee Hooper), age 81, of Sykesville, died Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Lorien Columbia.
She was born October 11, 1936 in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Dixon Paul Hooper and the late Mary Audrey Hooper (nee Heinekamp).
She was the Owner/Secretary for NSC Contractors for 26 years, retiring in 1999. Member of Randallstown/Windsor Jaycees, Randallstown Optimist and Winfield, Featherbed Lane PTA. Member of St. Alphonsus R.C. Church., former Assistant administrator at Holy Family R.C. Church in Randallstown.
She was the wife of Edward James Arnold, Jr., mother of Paula A. Kerger, Edward Arnold III and wife Nataly and Byron W. Arnold and wife Linda; grandchildren Nicole and Brandon Holsey, Justin Arnold, Olivia and Jamison Arnold, Andy Kolker and Jennifer Arnold; great grandchildren Branson and Bella Holsey, and sister in law Linda Wells and husband Bruce Wells and family.
Gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 10:00am-11:00am at St. Alphonsus R.C. Church,10800 Old Court Road, Woodstock, MD 21163 with a Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM with Fr. Joseph P. Lacey, SJ officiating. Inurnment at St. Alphonsus R.C. Church Cemetery.
