Mary Beck

Mary Jane Beck (nee Waltz), age 85, of Mt. Airy , died Wednesday, October 4, 2006 at home. She was the daughter of the late Clifton M. Waltz and the late Edna Waltz (nee Pickett). She was born February 16, 1921, in Baltimore , Maryland . She was the wife of the late Herman “B” Samuel Beck, Jr. She worked as a school teacher and retired as a Career Teacher and was a member of the Prospect United Methodist Church in Mt. Airy and the United Methodist Women. Devoted mother of Herman “Sam” & Pamela Beck, III of Mt. Airy, Clifton T. and Penni Beck of Mt. Airy , and mother of Margaret J. and Jeff Kershner of Mt. Airy . Dear sister of Barbara Barnes of Winfield, the late Margaret “Ishie” Perryman and the late Clifton “Buddy” Waltz, Jr. Loving grandmother of six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 9, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Prospect United Methodist Church , 5923 Woodville Road , Mt. Airy, Maryland with Pastor Susan Buhl of the Prospect United Methodist Church officiating. Interment Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery , Sykesville , MD.
