Mary Burrier

Mary “Adelene” Burrier 83 of Mt. Airy, MD Died Sunday October 5, 2008 at Citizens Nursing Home. She was born January 1, 1925 in Mt. Airy, MD the daughter of the late Emerson E. Burrier and the late Edith Gertrude (Garver ) Burrier. She was a Music Teacher in Frederick for Sperry Storm and gave private lessons at her home . She has a degree in Music and Piano from the Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, MD . Ms. Burrier was a Member and Deacon of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren in Mt. Airy, MD where she played organ for 26 years. She is the last living member of her immediate family and is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family is inviting friends for a viewing on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Thursday October 9, 2008 11 AM at Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, 13356 Glissans Mill Rd. Mt. Airy, MD 21771 with the Rev. L. Ross Kirk and Pastor Wayne Hall officiating. Entombment will be in Clustered Spires Cemetery, formerly Linden Hills Memorial Frederick , MD.
