Mary Moore

Mrs. Mary Elva Moore, 56, of Taylorsville, died Wednesday morning July 4, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of Larry Allen Moore. She was born on April 20, 1956 in Taylorsville, MD. She was the daughter of the late Theodore Ward and late Kathleen Ward. She was retired from Springfield State Hospital after 38 years of service. She enjoyed being outside in her flower beds and tending to her pond’s. She loved yard sales, going to Charlestown, and her outside wildlife. She loved helping others in any way she could. She is survived by her daughter Mary Jo Ward and husband Robert Ridgely and granddaughter Destiny. She is also survived by her 3 stepchildren, Jeffrey Moore, Lisa Moore and fiancé David Moynihan and grandchildren Samantha and Joseph, Kimberly Moore and fiancé Elliot Sterner and grandchildren Christopher and Emily. She is also survived by her brother Theodore Ward and nieces Ashley and Brittany Ward and great niece Madison, as well as two nephews JR Toms and TR Harris. She was preceded in death by two Sisters Bonnie Harris and Doris Toms and niece Jenny Ward. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM; where Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mindy Coates officiating. Interment Taylorsville U.M. Church Cemetery in Taylorsville, MD.
