Melva Irwin

Melva Irene Irwin (nee Kelly), age 84, of Mt. Airy, died Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at Carroll Hospice, Inc.-Dove House in Westminster, MD. She was the daughter of the late George Ollie Kelly and the late Thelma Irene Kelly (nee Bragg) born August 3, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Winfield Bible Church. She was raised and resided in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was the wife of the late Felix Mack Irwin, Jr. She was the mother of Cheryl Irwin Schutz, Felix Mack Irwin, III, Karen Kelly Irwin, Lynne Irene Irwin Dodds, Gary George Irwin and Jonathan Franklin Irwin. She was the sister of Jean Panzarino and husband Frank and the late Alice Kelly. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Monday August 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Winfield Bible Church, 5407 Woodbine Road, Woodbine with the Rev. Kim Gee officiating. Interment Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Winfield, MD. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
