Melvin Moxley

Melvin Urner Moxley, 87 of New Windsor, MD, died Monday October 29, 2007 at North Hampton Manor, Frederick, MD. He was the spouse of the late Loretta Theresa Shorb Moxley and the late Mildred Burke Moxley. He was born June 27, 1920 in Mount Airy , MD. Mr. Moxley was retired from the MD School for the Deaf in Frederick , MD where he worked as a groundskeeper. Mr. Moxley was an active member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday October 31, 2007 12 Noon at Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, 13356 Glissans Mill Rd. Mount Airy , MD 21771 with Pastor Wayne Hall and Rev. L. Ross Kirk officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Interment will be in Locust Grove Church Cemetery . In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, 13356 Glissans Mill Rd. Mt. Airy , MD 21771.
