Mickey Dean Wilkinson, age 61, of Mt. Airy, MD, died Tuesday, August 06, 2013, at Glade Valley Nursing Home in Walkersville, MD.
He was born May 10, 1952 in Jacksonville, Florida the son of the late William D. Wilkinson and the late Joanne Martin Wilkinson.
He Served in the US Navy for 6 years and then worked as an Electrical Engineer for Bechtel Power for 25 years prior to his illness. He enjoyed Hot Rods and working on cars.
He was the husband of Teresa A. Wilkinson (nee Munday).
He was the father of Michael Wilkinson of Mississippi, Ashley Endicott and husband Jason of North Carolina and Kayla Wilkinson of Mt. Airy; Grandfather of Chase Wilkinson, Aiden Endicott, Paityn Wilkinson and Lucas Endicott.
Also survived by siblings; Michele Reeder, Melinda Martin, Martin Wilkinson, Marla Treadaway and Mitzi Taylor.
