Mildred Withrow

Mildred Lillian Withrow (nee Sarver), age 95, of formerly Woodbine, died Tuesday, December 20, 2011. She was born November 19, 1916 in Boomer, West Virginia the daughter of the late McKinley Sarver and the late Willie Grace Bostic Berry. She was a nurse’s aide for Springfield State Hospital. She was a member of Assembly of God. She liked to travel and enjoyed old movies especially John Wayne movies. She was the wife of the late Francis Harvey Withrow. She was the mother of Peggy Rippeon and husband George of Thurmont, Joyce King of Delaware, Delores Mullican and friend Scott Lucas of Westminster, Jackie Reavis and husband Richard of Westminster. Step sister of Ruby Gravely of Michigan, Ruth Blevins of Michigan, Thelma Shuck of West Virginia and the late Curtis and Wesley Berry. Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Thursday from 7-9 PM, where funeral service will be held on Friday December 23, 2011 at 1:30 PM with the Rev.
