Mona Babik

Mona Babik, age 79 of Westminster, MD died July 20, 2023 at home. Mona was the spouse of the late Michael Babik. Mona was born on June 9, 1944, in Baltimore, MD, and was the daughter of Edward James and Norma (Weaver) Boyle. She was a devoted wife, mother and worked as an administrative assistant.
Mona was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas and volunteered at the Gift Shop at Carroll Hospital Center.
Surviving are daughters and their husbands, Lisa and Patrick McLaurin and Wendy and Robert Shapiro, all of Mt Airy, MD. Loving grandmother of Cara and Evan McLaurin and Quinn and Delaney Shapiro, all of Mt Airy, MD. Also, surviving are siblings, Delores Bishop and Edward Boyle.
Services will be conducted at St Timothy’s Ordinariate Church on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 10:00am with Father Alejandro at 703 Sandusky Rd Sykesville, MD

Mona enjoyed spending time with her family. She liked to be outdoors in her garden, reading, traveling, and visiting the beach. She enjoyed swimming and spending time with her friends.
