Nancy Ann Carter (nee Howard), age 76, formerly of Woodlawn, died Friday March 27, 2015 at home.
She was born May 3, 1938 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late Edgar George Howard and the late Alice Mildred Howard (nee Deane).
She was a homemaker, caregiver, operated her own day care for many years, leader of her senior group a Sunday school teacher for Wesley Methodist Church and Church of the Nazarene. She was a member of Freedom Church in Westminster, MD. She loved gardening, cooking and sewing.
Beloved wife of the late Rodman V. Carter.
Devoted mother of Cathie Schuman and husband Dan, Eric Carter and wife Barb, Sherie Belt and husband Patrick, Cindie Hedrick and husband Robert, Wendie Willis and husband Jay, Debbie Carter and Garrett Bailey, and Christie Friedland and husband Dave.
Dear sister of Linda Townsend, Alice Schaeffer, Bobby, Clifton and Tommy Schaeffer
Also survived by 26 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
