Nancy Lee Davis (nee Meade), age 88, of Dover, PA and formerly of Sykesville, MD, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at her home, surrounded by family.
Beloved wife of the late Carl Lloyd Davis.
She was Born July 19, 1935, in Calvert County, Maryland; the daughter of the late Roland Meade and the late Virginia Meade (nee Scrivener).
She was an agent for an insurance company; she loved her grand kids; enjoyed country music, Sammy Kershaw- she would follow him around to see him play, Kenny Chesney and Johnny cash; she loved going on cruises.
She is survived by her children Dale Davis (Louise), Stephen Davis (Tracy), daughter-in-law Suzanne, grandchildren Adam and wife Rachel, Amanda, Joshua, Emily, Jeremy, Samantha, Amanda, and Casey, great-grandchildren Harold, Trey, Maleah, and Luca.
Sister of William “Bill” Meade and Patricia “Patsy” Meade.
Preceded in death by son James Davis, and grandson Randy.
The Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM with Funeral Services at 1:00PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, PA, 1212 West Old Liberty Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784.
