Nancy Jean Grothe (nee Schaeffer), age 69, of Sykesville, MD, died Friday, December 13, 2013 at ManorCare Health Services in Dallastown, PA.
She was born December 14, 1943 in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late John Henry Schaeffer and the late Ida Emily Curtis Grine.
She was the wife of the late Charles “Chuck” Henry Grothe.
She worked and met her husband Chuck at SSA.
She was a Secretary for the Rouse Company. She was an antique collector, loved fashion and cruises with family and was a people watcher.
She was the mother of Michael Grothe and wife Christina of Felton, PA.
She was the sister of Candee Lathe and husband Jimmy of Randallstown and the late brother Jackie Schaeffer.
Also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
