Nancy Jean Morris, 70, passed away peacefully into eternal life on April 25th, 2024 in her home.
She was born on June 4, 1953 to Edward SIlvers and Nancy Friedhoff in Georgetown (Washington D.C).
She is survived by her husband Donald Morris, son Sean Leahy, daughter Crystal Moore, son in-law Bruce Moore, grandchildren Finn Leahy, Devon Leahy-Wright, Tyler Moore, Layla Moore and Olive Moore. She was predeceased by brothers, Ricky Silvers and Tom Friedhoff. In addition to her brothers she is survived by her sister Patricia (Patty) Young.
Jean enjoyed a distinguished career as the Administrative Aide at the Frederick County Public Defender's office serving the community. Jean participated in community efforts such as Wags for Hope, Women’s Jail Ministries, the Read Program and Therapeutic horseback riding.
Her adventurous spirit will be a timeless aspect of her legacy. She gained immense joy from her interactions with horses and dogs, finding gratification in their companionship and the bond they shared. Jean proudly affiliated herself with The Women In The Wind Iron Eagles Chapter of Maryland, where she forged strong connections and embraced the thrill of the ride alongside fellow enthusiasts. Jean enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband and club members knowing it's not about the destination; it's about the journey and the joy of experiencing it together.
Jean's steadfast devotion has always been to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

A celebration of life will be held on May 25th, 2024 at 11:00 am at New Hope Fellowship Church at 1019 Taneytown Pike Westminster, MD 21158.
