Oceola Dove, age 97, of New Windsor, died Friday, September 25, 2015 at Integrace Copper Ridge in Sykesville, MD.
She was born July 9, 1918 in Mathias, West Virginia the daughter of the late Fannie Dove.
She enjoyed being a farmer and farmed in Howard County for 34 years; and loved her garden.
She was the sister of Glee DeLawder of Mathias, West Virginia and the late Curtis Dove, late Annie Distanet, and the late Faye Weaver; survived also besides her sister is nephew and wife Richard & Rita DeLawder of Mathias, WV., and niece and husband Carolyn and Jesse Propst of Bergton, VA; friends Fred, Vickie and Bobby Johnston and Kathy Johnston Hadel and husband Justin and daughter Allie.
Friends may call at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville (Beside South Carroll High School) on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 11:00 AM-12:00 Noon at which time Funeral Service will being at 12:00 NOON at the Funeral Home, with Pastor Tim Leaman from Calvary Baptist Church in Westminster, MD officiating.
Interment Bethany Cemetery, New Windsor, MD.
