Patricia Burdette

Patricia Ann (Gamber) Burdette, age 77, of Westminster, died on Monday, November 28, 2023. Born June 28, 1946, in Flohrville, she was the daughter of the late Phillips, Sr. and Lucille (Wilson) Gamber.
Patricia, known to her friends and family as “Pat” or “Tricia”, was a graduate of Sykesville High School where she met Carl, her loving husband of 56 years. She enjoyed volunteering at her children’s school and Fairhaven, and in her later years treasured time with her grandchildren Colin and Charlotte. She was an active gardener and was especially proud of her many variations of Irises. Patricia will always be remembered for her abundant gardens, the dozens of cookies she baked every Christmas, and high-heeled shoes that matched Carl’s Pontiac Firebird.
In addition to husband Carl, Patricia is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Colt Burdette and Nicole Musgrave-Burdette, and Cliff and Kelsey Burdette of Sykesville; grandchildren Colin and Charlotte; brother, Carroll Gamber and wife Lisa of Gerardstown, WV; sisters-in-law, Linda Gamber of Taneytown, Luann Gamber of Westminster, and Arlene Baker of Palm City, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, Phillips L. Gamber, Jr. and William A. Gamber, and sister Deborah L. Gamber.
