Patricia Ann Sutton (nee Thompson), age 76, of Westminster, formerly of Finksburg, died Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Howard County General Hospital in Columbia, MD.
She was born October 5, 1936 in Winston-Salem, NC, the daughter of the late William Paul Thompson and the late Hattie Overbey Thompson.
She was a Registered Nurse for various hospitals. She worked for Blue Cross & Blue Shield, she was the Director of Nursing for Howard County Hospital, and she was a claims investigator for CMS.
Preceded in death by husbands the late Andrew Meassick and the late Richard Sutton.
Devoted mother of Son-Mark A. Meassick and wife Elizabeth of Nairobi, Kenya, Africa and their children, Daniel, Roney, Elizabeth and Angelica; son-Raymond A. Meassick and wife Elizabeth of Eldersburg, MD and their children Daniel and Julia; and son- Gary E. Meassick and wife Leslie of Reisterstown, MD and children Marissa, Cody, and Jack; stepdaughter-Lisa Barron and husband Michael of Sykesville and their children Alex and wife Kelly and Carly; stepson- Richard W. Sutton II and wife Judy of Ellicott City, MD; stepdaughter- Cindy Fox and husband Victor and their children Allyson and Husband Tim of Garner, NC; stepson- Russell Sutton, and sisters- Betty Hines of Winston-Salem, NC and Linda Berrier of Advance, NC.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Deer Park U.M. Church, 2205 Sykesville Road, Westminster, MD 21157 with the Rev. Dr. Mary Jo Sims officiating.
Private interment.
