Pearl Lillian (Cook) Thomas, 78 of Winfield, MD, died Saturday July 16, 2011 at the Dove House in Westminster, MD. She was the spouse of the late Charles Howard Thomas, Sr. She was born April 19, 1933 in Winfield, MD the daughter of the late Alfred A. and Della (Jason) Cook. Mrs. Thomas was a Dietary Supervisor for the State Of MD, A member of Fairview UMC. Enjoyed doing puzzles and watching the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. Surviving her are Daughter Brigitte M. Thomas of Winfield, Son and Daughter-in-law Charles H. and Darnella E. Thomas, Jr. Of Winfield, Sister Bernice Wilson of Winfield, Brother Maurice and wife Betty Cook of Johnsville. Sister-in-law Martha Cook, Grandchildren Brittlynn, DeAndre, and Kennedy Thomas. Sister-in-law Regina Thomas. Best and Longtime Friend Sally Greene and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by Brother Edward Cook. Funeral Services will take place Friday July 22, 2011 10 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 with Pastor Don Levroney of Fairview UMC officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Taylorsville, MD. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday July 21 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Dove House 292 Stoner Ave. Westminster, MD 21157.
