Peggy Joyce Hollen (nee Haines), age 73, of Sykesville, died Thursday, February 9, 2017 at her home.
She was born March 16, 1943 in Eldersburg, MD, the daughter of the late Claude Edward Haines, Sr. and the late Gladys Marie Haines (nee Milter).
She was a retired housekeeper for Fairhaven in Sykesville; graduated from Sykesville High School in 1961.
She was the wife of the late Gary L. Hollen.
She was the sister of Kenneth Dale Haines, Sr. of Sykesville, and Barbara Beck of Pasadena.
Gathering of family and friends will be held at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville (Beside South Carroll High School) on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 from 5:00-6:00 PM; at which time Memorial Service will be begin at 6:00 PM with Rev. Quintin Merson officiating.
