Regena A. “Jean” Thacker, age 82, of Randallstown, died Tuesday, November 03, 2015 at Lorien Mays Chapel in Timonium, MD.
She was born May 16, 1933 in Elkins, West Virginia the daughter of the late Oscar Smith and the late Viola Wilmath Smith
She was a Secretary for Bendix Company. Loved playing the piano for her church and she was an excellent cook.
She was the wife of the late James William Thacker.
She was the mother of Karen Thacker and the late Kathy Jean Sylvester; also survived by son in law Timothy M. Sylvester; grandchildren Elizabeth I. Darling, Kaitlin B. Hudnall and Nikolas Sylvester, Ashley Muth and Andrew Muth; sister of Earl Smith and Wife Ruth Smith, and dear friend of Sharron Roberts and Joyce House.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville (Beside South Carroll High School) on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM; where Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 6, 2015 at 11:00 AM; with the Rev. James Cato officiating.
Interment Lake View Memorial Park.
