Richard Dorsey

Richard Cromwell Dorsey, age 82, of Sykesville, MD., died Tuesday, April 4, 2017. Born June 7, 1934, he was one of 11 siblings born to the late Joseph H. Dorsey, Sr. and the late Martha Esther Dorsey (nee Snowden). He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth Louise Dorsey (nee Cook). In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children Richard Dorsey (Kathy), Don Dorsey (Rosselle), Marvin Dorsey (Linda), Alex Dorsey (Tierra), Sandra Jenkins (Jason), Neal Dorsey (Clayonia), and late infant son Dennis “Eric” Dorsey; he is also survived by siblings, brother and sister-n-laws and a host of grand, great-grand and great-great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and dear friends.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville (Beside South Carroll High School) on Sunday from 7-9 PM and Monday, April 10, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 at which Time Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Interment Fairview Cemetery.
