Richard Ely

Richard Charles Ely 81 of Marriottsville, MD, died on Wednesday November 17, 2010. He was the husband of 59 years to Nancy Marie (Watts) Ely. Mr. Ely was born April 20, 1929 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late John Walter Ely and the late Pauline (Vomastek) Ely. He was a retired Baltimore City Firefighter out of Engine 46. He was a member of Northwest Baptist Church, a Veteran of the US Navy, an avid Golfer and Bowler. Devoted father of Earl A. and wife Nellie Ely , the late Richard B. Ely and wife Ceal , Elvamarie Ely Miller, John A and Darlene Ely, Dear Brother of Leroy and wife Hilda Ely, Also Survived by 12 Grandchildren and numerous Great-grandchildren. Friends may call Sat, 5 to 7 PM and Sun, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784. Funeral services will take place on Monday November 22, 2010 11 Am at Northwest Baptist Church, 300 Westminster Rd. Reisterstown, MD 21136.
