Richard A “Rick” Geelhaar, 60, of Millsboro, Delaware, formerly of Westminster and Randallstown, Maryland, passed away on June 6, 2023, at his home.

Rick was born in Baltimore, Maryland on August 5, 1962, the son of the late William Russell Geelhaar Jr. and the late Margaret Jewel Geelhaar (nee Tucker).

He was the husband of Maureen F. Geelhaar (nee Brown) his wife of 30 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by siblings Kimberly Ruby, William R. Geelhaar III, Martin Geelhaar and wife Holly, Lori Cunningham and companion John Speicher and the late Garry Joseph Geelhaar.

Rick enjoyed spending time with family including nieces, nephews, his Aunt Joan, cousins, in-laws, many friends and neighbors. Rick also enjoyed working as an estimator for Travis Martin of Chesapeake Plumbing and Heating and enjoyed many friendships over the years while working there. Rick was also very fond of all animals especially his Miniature Schnauzers Madison “Bratty Maddy” and the late great Baron Von “Schultz”.

Rick was an avid photographer, enjoyed fishing and had many other interests including traveling, sightseeing and especially enjoyed festivals featuring air shows, hot air balloons and regatta racing.

Rick was a graduate of Randallstown High School and parishioner of Holy Family Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus council #3960 St. Charles Borromeo-Randallstown and former employee of Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA.

Private Service and Interment at Lake View Memorial Park.
