Richard B Martin Jr of Woodbine, Maryland, loving son of Richard B Martin Sr. and Kathryn L Martin, passed away on June 1st, 2021. He was born on October 14th, 1980 in Frederick, Maryland and graduated from Glenelg High School in 1999. He attended UMBC and double majored in Biochemistry and Physics, graduating Suma Cum Laude.
Richard was a devout Catholic and a member of St Michael Poplar Springs Catholic Church in Mt. Airy, Md. He loved his family, exploring new places, flying drones and photography. He especially loved Disney World and Thailand.
He is survived by his brother, Bryan Martin, two sisters; Rachael and Maria Martin and his brother-in-law, Ryan Hudson.
He leaves behind his grandmothers, Mary Martin and Mildred Harshman, along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his grandparents William Martin, Phyllis Martin, and Kenneth Harshman.
The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 from 6 to 8 pm at Burrier Queen Funeral Home, 1212 West Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, Md. 21784. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 16th 2021 11:00 AM at St Michael Poplar Springs Catholic Church, 1125 St Michael’s Road, Mt. Airy, Md. 21771.
