Richard Myers
March 28, 1959 — August 27, 2021
Richard “Rich” Wayne Myers, 62, of Woodbine, MD, formerly of Pasadena, MD, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, at his mother’s home.
Rich was the son of Sheridan L. Evans (nee Arnold) and the late John E. Myers. He was the stepson of the late Roland F. Evans.
Rich is remembered as a good son, brother and father. He worked all his life as a driver at various jobs. He enjoyed cars, movies and especially, his sleep. He had fond memories of going to the racetrack with his brother and helping him work on cars. Friends and family fondly remember Rich as a kind and generous person who was always ready to lend a hand to help someone.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, is daughter, Catrina Myers, husband Brian, and grandson Mathew; brother, John Wesley Myers, Sr. and wife Rachelle; nephew John Wesley Myers, Jr. and wife Lexii; niece Riley Myers and husband Justin Coch; four grandnieces, Laney and Phoebe Coch, Autumn Calianno and Rori Myers.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield MD 21784, beside South Carroll High School. Funeral services will be held at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory on Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at 11 AM, followed by interment at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Woodbine, MD.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Avenue, Westminster, MD 21157.
