Passed Sunday, January 28, 2018 at home.
Beloved husband of late Edith (Gassner) Andrews
Born August 10, 1923 in Pittsfield, MA the son of late Robert B. and Edna (Breck) Andrews
He worked may years for the federal government, after retiring he taught computer classes at Hagerstown Junior College. He was a US Army WWII Veteran, member of Ebenezer UMC, an avid woodworker and a great father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Surviving him are his children and their spouses: Robert Bruce and Cheryl Andrews of Lakeland, FL, Kathleen Edith and Tom Schmidt of New York, NY, Elizabeth Sue and Stephen Bergman of Westminster.
Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with Rev. Judy Emerson officiating.
Mr. Andrews cremains will be scattered with his wife’s at Christ Lutheran Church Scattering Garden, Washington, D.C. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Ebenezer UMC Food Pantry Building Fund 4901 Woodbine Rd. Sykesville, MD 21784.
