Robert “Bob” William Cole, 85 of Taylorsville, MD passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023, surrounded by family at Westminster Health Care Center in Westminster, MD.
He was the husband of the late Katherine Cole (Truax).
He was born on October 24, 1938, in Baltimore, MD, the son of the late William Cole and the late Myrtle May Cole (nee Asper).
Bob loved mowing and was always finding something to do or someone to talk to. Before retiring Bob worked for Congoleum.
He is survived by his children Tim Cole & wife Candy, Wanda Eaton, Steven Cole & wife Linda, Melissa Whelan & husband Mike, and Maria Harding & husband Travis; siblings Ethel, Sam, Doris, and Helen; grandchildren Timmy, Jesse, Ephraim, Naomi, Nathan, Jonathan and Jace great granddaughter Emma and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his siblings Betty, Mary, and Charles
A gathering will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023, from 2-4 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School), with funeral service starting at 4 PM.
