Robert Dubel

On November 29, 2023, Robert Young Dubel, died peacefully at the age of 98. He donated his body to the Maryland Anatomy Board. Robert was predeceased by his wife Helen Miles Dubel, sons James Miles Dubel, Jeffrey Young Dubel, and daughter Jeanne Dubel Byrd. Robert is survived by his brother David Hull Dubel and wife Mary Lane Dubel. He is survived by children Kenneth Young Dubel and Alicia Jahsmann, and Rebecca Dubel Snodderly and husband Max Robert Snodderly. He was the cherished grandfather of Brett Robert Dubel and wife Samantha Dubel , Zachary Steven Dubel and wife Amber Ross-Carlson, Kirsten Roza Byrd, Kyle Robert Snodderly and wife Morgan Snodderly, Morgan Jeanne Lutz and husband Tucker Lutz, Ross Xavier Snodderly and wife Cate Snodderly, and Max Young Snodderly. He was the loving great grandfather of Augustus Young Lutz, Brooks Young Snodderly, Ada Love Lutz, and Miles Marie Snodderly.

Family and friends will celebrate Robert's life at a visitation from 7-9 pm on Friday, January 5, 2024, and a memorial service at 11:00 am on January 6, 2024, both at the Milford Mill United Methodist Church, 915 Milford Mill Road, Pikesville, MD 21208. In lieu of flowers, contributions will be welcomed by Milford Mill Church or the Scholarship Fund, Glen Meadows Retirement Community, 11630 Glen Arm Road, Glen Arm, MD 21057.
