Robert Harry Hartman, age 86, of Westminster Maryland died Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Brinton Woods Health Care Center in Sykesville, MD.
Born in Buffalo, New York on June 20, 1930 married to Carol Ann Hartman his wife of 69 years.
Bob was a Buffalo Fireman and owned Colony Carpet store in Williamsville, NY. Until moving to Maryland to live with is daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandchildren.
Bob suffered through the stages of Alzheimer’s for the last 10 years of his life. His beautiful blue eyes, endless smile, good humor and love of life will be remembered by all who crossed his path.
Bob Hartman is survived by his wife, Carol Hartman, daughter, Nancy (Hartman) Silbaugh and spouse Rob, daughter-in-law Kelley Hartman; 5 grandchildren, Kimberly (and spouse Chris), Brittany, David, Wesley, Brandon; and 2 great grandchildren Riley and Logan.
He was preceded in death by his son, Mark David Hartman.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, (Beside South Carroll High School) Sykesville, MD, 21784 on Monday, December 19, 2016 from 10:00 AM till 11:00 AM at which time funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. Bill Brown of Wesley Freedom U.M. Church in Eldersburg officiating.
Interment with Military Honors will be at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.
