Robin A. Nodes, age 66, of Sykesville, Maryland, died unexpectedly in her home on Friday, November 4, 2022.
She was born April 27, 1956, in Baltimore, MD, the daughter of the late Thomas Haddaway and Robin Kilpatrick. Surviving Robin are her mother, sisters, stepmother Sylvia Haddaway, and stepsisters.
Robin worked as a hydrologist at McCormick Taylor in New Jersey for 18 years and often did volunteer work for FEMA.
Robin enjoyed many hobbies during her lifetime. She loved all animals, but horses were her first love, and, in her adult life, she became particularly fond of cats and called herself “the crazy cat lady.” She was a talented artist, and, after her retirement, you could find her at home with her cats either sketching, painting, or creating and making jewelry for friends and family. Robin had a fun, carefree spirit and was loved by all those who knew her. She will be missed, but memories of her will live one.
Robin will be cremated, and her ashes scattered on the grave of her beloved father, Tom, who passed away on September 18, 2022. Her family requests that a donation be made to an animal rescue or shelter in Robin’s honor.
