Roger Keith Conaway, 68 of Woodbine, MD passed away on Monday, June 7, 2021, at his home.
He was the husband of Judy Conaway (nee Barnhart) for 40 years.
He was born December 20, 1952, in Carroll County, MD; the son of the late Russell “Diddie” Conaway and the late Blanche Conaway (nee Murray).
Roger worked as a Welder for Edco. Inc. for 24 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, woodworking, cars, and Trains.
Surviving in addition to his wife are his children Samantha Simpson & husband Richard of Westminster, MD, Michael Arentz & wife Sherri of Westminster, MD and Patricia Boone & husband Joseph of Taneytown, MD. Brother of Allen Conaway, Ralph Conaway, April Phelps, & Gail Slonaker. Also survived by his grandchildren Douglas Colson, Adam Colson, Jordan Bishop, Jessica Arentz, Tyler Arentz, & Morgan Fitzpatrick & great-grandchildren Kora Arentz & Lucas Fonnegra and many nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by granddaughter Katelyn Weatherly.
The family will receive friends on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 11 AM to 12 Noon at which time the funeral service will begin at 12 Noon at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Road Winfield, Md 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School).
Interment to follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
