Ruth Chalker (nee Lehmann), age 95 of Granite, MD passed away on Monday April 19, 2021 at Woodholme Gardens.
She was the wife of the late Ralph Chalker.
She was born July 30, 1925, in Granite, MD the daughter of the late Alfred Lehmann and the late Martha Lehmann (nee Fisher).
Ruth is survived by her two daughters Mary Files & husband David and Alice Randall & spouse Stafford VanOver. She is survived by her grandchildren Tanya Fairchild, Sharon Files and Jacob Files; and 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by her two sisters Cleo Garriott and Louise Klohr.
She was preceded in death by her siblings Arthur Lehmann, Jane Sauter and Carl Lehmann.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 23, 2021 from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 W. Old Liberty Road Winfield, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School). Where funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11 AM. Service will be livestreamed starting at 10:50 AM. Mask must be worn at the funeral home.
Interment to follow at Granite Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
