Sandra A. Parks (Russell), 78, of Hanover, PA passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at the Dove House in Westminster, MD.
She was the beloved wife of the late William Duane Parks.
Mrs. Parks was born November 24, 1944, in Baltimore, MD the daughter of the late James Russell and the late Elsie “Ruth” Russell (nee Teat).
Sandra along with her husband owned Parks Landing Restaurant in Westminster, MD. She enjoyed playing cards with her girlfriends and spending time with her family.
Devoted mother of Sheryl L. Chalk & husband Scott E. and the late Stacy D. Ritter; siblings Nancy S. Baer, James T. Russell, Jr. & wife Marilou, Jack H. Russell & wife Darlene, and Robert A. Russell & wife Chari; grandchildren Tori J. Powers & husband William A., Regan Chalk & fiancé RJ Hammond, and Ryder E. Chalk; and great granddaughters Millie J. Powers and Lena R. Powers.
A gathering will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School). With a Celebration of Life Service at 1 PM.
Inurnment to follow at Lake View Memorial Park.
