Sandra Roy

Sandra Lee Roy (nee Conwell), age 51, of Sykesville, died Friday, April 27, 2012, at Carroll Hospice-Dove House in Westminster, MD. She was the daughter of Susie Lee Conwell (nee Newsome) and the late Grover Junior Conwell. She was born September 14, 1960 in Baltimore, MD. She was a claims adjuster. She enjoyed the beach, and all animals, and traveling with her family and children. She was the wife of John Philip Roy of Sykesville. She was the mother of Shannon Brooke Roy and Alexander John Roy. She was the sister of Rebecca Ibex and husband Frank, Constance Conwell and Douglas Conwell and the late Michael and Charles Conwell. Daughter in law of Richard and Virginia Roy; sister in law of- Kathleen and Don Harvey, Michael and Linda Roy, Joanne and Pete Jones and David and Margie Roy; also survived by several numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Winfield (Beside South Carroll High School) on Sunday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Liturgy (MASS) will be held at St. John’s Catholic Church, 43 Monroe Street, Westminster, MD on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM with Fr. Lawrence P. Adamczyk officiating. Interment Meadow Branch Cemetery, Westminster, MD.
