Shawn Shifflett

Shawn Shifflett, 28 of Westminster died June 26, 2017. He was born in Baltimore on January 16, 1989, to the late Victoria Haney-Shifflett. At the age of 15, Shawn became the son of James and Rosanna Jordan, of Westminster. Shawn is survived by his parents, James and Rosanna, his son, Shayne, brothers, Michael Shifflett, Bradley Shifflett, James (JD) Jordan and JD's wife Melanie, along with nieces and nephew Sage and Cheyenne Shifflett, and Christian and Pheobe Jordan. Shawn had many friends who will miss him dearly. He graduated from South Carroll High School in 2007 and was employed at Big Ricks Landscaping of Woodbine as a tree climber. Shawn never met a stranger, would offer his last dollar to anyone who asked, and was always helping someone. Shawn’s generosity lives on as an organ donor. He would be happy to know that he gave another person a better life. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA, to cover his funeral. Viewing will be Monday, July 3, 2017 from 1:30-3:30 with services directly afterwards at 3:30 PM. Shawn’s ashes will be buried next to his mother at a later date and time.
