Shelva Burdette

Shelva Wright Burdette 72 of Frederick MD Formerly of Mt. Airy, MD, died Friday July 20, 2012 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the spouse of the late Rodney L. Burdette and currently the spouse of Lewis Smith of Frederick. She was born March 16, 1940 in Mt. Airy, MD the daughter of the late Ralph DeWitt Wright and late Margaret Elizabeth (Dayhoff) Wright. She was a homemaker. Surviving her in addition to her spouse are Daughter Dawn Heller of Frederick MD, Daughter Kimberly L. Hunt of Mt. Airy, Son and Daughter-in-law Kevin and Denise Burdette of Carmel, IN Sister Betty Jane Beutgen of FL, Sister Sharon Franklin of Mt. Airy Grandchildren Shannon, Jason, Lacey, Abby, Lily, Brenton, and Lane. Great Grandchildren Ryder, Michael, and Jessica. Preceded in death by Daughter Teresa Collins and Brother Robert Dayhoff. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2012 11 AM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A., 1212 W. Old Liberty Rd. Winfield, MD 21784 The family will receive friends on Tuesday 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home.
