Shirley Glazier
July 12, 1936 — December 5, 2020
On Saturday, December 5, 2020, Shirley Marie Glazier of Mt. Airy, Maryland was called home to be with her Savior and reunited with her loving husband of 49 years, James H. Glazier, Sr. who passed in 2002.
She was born July 12, 1936 in Washington, DC to Elizabeth and Birket Frazier.
Her incredible legacy will live on in everyone who had the pleasure of meeting her, but especially her four sons James “Buddy” (and wife Lori) Glazier, David (and Anne Warfield) Glazier, Michael (and Stacey Long) Glazier, and Alan Siegrist; grandchildren Daniel (and Haley Adams) Glazier, Justin (and wife Shannon) Glazier, Nicole Miracle (and husband William), and Owen Glazier, and one adoring great-grand daughter Landon Olivia Glazier.
Shirley was a loving wife and devoted her life to serving her family and those around them. Her profound generosity and thoughtfulness will be sorely missed by those who loved her, but comfort is found in the promise of salvation. Shirley was a faithful believer, and we know that all who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will be reunited one day in eternal perfection. Her life was filled with countless examples of thoughtfully giving to others and that spirit of generosity and service was passed on to those she raised well prior to her passing.
