Shirley “Boss” Wright (nee Waycaster), 88 of Sykesville, MD passed away on Monday, December 18, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was the beloved wife of Charles “Sonny” Wright for 67 years.
She was born September 22, 1935, in Johnson City, TN the daughter of the late Robert Waycaster & the late Ada Waycaster (nee Crowder).
Surviving in addition to her husband are her 4 children Robin, Beverly, Dennis, and Rick, a sister Barbara, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 4-6 PM at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 (beside South Carroll High School), where the funeral service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 11 AM.
Interment at Lake View Memorial Park.
