1st Sgt. William D. Adams USMC (Ret.) 77, of Mt. Airy, MD passed away on May 20, 2022, at his home.
William David was the spouse of Carol J. Adams (nee White).
William David was born July 23, 1944, in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Lester Adams and the late Catherine Adams.
He was a 1962 Graduate from Catonsville High School. He worked as a sheet metal worker and retired from sheet Metal Workers Local 100 Washington, DC. Also had 24 years of Faithful service in the United States Marine Corps. William was a member of the Romano Karate Federation, Marine Corps Pistol Team, the Marine Corps League, American Legion Gold Star post 191 of Mt. Airy, MD, he was a coach for Winfield Little League Baseball and Toys for Tots.
Surviving in addition to his wife is his daughter Angela M. Kaplan and companion David Dubbert. Grandfather of Kayla C. Kaplan, Shawn C. Kaplan, and Faith N. Kaplan. Also survived by his brother Gerald Adams.
William David was preceded in death by his parents and his son Shawn Adams.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 26, 2022, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at BURRIER-QUEEN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, P.A. 1212 West Old Liberty Road Winfield, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School). Where the funeral service will be held on Friday, May 27, 2022, at 11 AM.
Interment to follow at CrestLawn Memorial Gardens.
