Stanley Leon Moore, age 75 of Taneytown, Maryland died May 5, 2024.
He was born in Woodbine, Maryland on the 6th of February, 1949, to the late F. Leon and Marian E. Moore.
After proudly serving in the United States Army, Stan was employed as a Telecommunication Specialist by the Social Security Administration.
He is survived by his daughter, Katlyn Moore, his sister, Barbara Miller, his brother, Bobby Moore, and his partner, Virginia Kerry.
He was predeceased by his brother, Ronald F. Moore, and nephew, Bruce A. Moore.
Services will be conducted at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home 1212 West Old Liberty Road Sykesville, MD 21784 on June 8, 2024, at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00 am-11:00 am on June 8, 2024.
The interment will be private at Pine Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions in Stan's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause he supported for many years.
