Steven Adelbert Lawson, age 64 of New Windsor, Maryland died Monday, August 26, 2024, at his home after a courageous battle against cancer. Steve was happily married to Cheryl Lawson for 41 years. Steve worked for many places in his life including Westminster Coca Cola Company, Bowmans Home and Garden Center, Carroll County Government, Select Products, Griffith Energy, and was the Co-Owner of Frisco Family Pub.
Steve had many talents and hobbies, the majority of which surrounded sports. He was an avid Orioles and Ravens fan and enjoyed watching games on the deck with family and friends. He collected baseball cards and spent the last several months of his life organizing his cards with his boys. His collection includes every Topps card from 1973-1996. He loved to play, coach and watch his family play softball where he imparted his expertise and infamous “keep your chin up” attitude into those he coached. His favorite past time was spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren, especially playing 500, eating crabs, having tea parties, and teaching the grandkids to talk like Donald Duck.
