Susan K. Bushey (nee Kephart), age 76, of Sykesville, died Friday, March 17, 2017 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
She was born April 10, 1940 in Silver Spring, MD the daughter of the late Denny Washington Kephart and the late Charlotte Zepp Kephart.
She was the wife of the late James L. Bushey, Jr.
She was a graduate of Juniata College with a Bachelor of Arts in history; worked for State of Maryland Law Archives, Carroll County Public Library Bookmobile and for her husband’s Land Surveying Business; Avid interests in history particularly in American History and local Carroll County history. She was also an avid baseball fan, and enjoyed classical music and playing the clarinet.
Mother of John K. Bushey and the late Gail A. Bushey; sister of Denny L. Kephart and his wife Barbara; grandmother of Sabra N. Bushey; also survived by multiple nieces and grandnieces.
