Theresia L. “Terry” Elliott (nee Kinzl), age 85, of Sykesville, MD, died Friday, March 7, 2025, at BridgingLife at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD.
She was born on December 9, 1939, in Germany the daughter of the late Franz Kinzl and the late Katharina Kinzl.
Terry was an accountant/bookkeeper; and founding member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, St. Joseph Court #2300 in Sykesville; she enjoyed traveling with close friends to various places, enjoyed spending time with her family, and enjoyed gardening.
She was the wife of the late Roy Lee Elliott, married for 60 years, he passed away on July 10, 2019.
Terry is survived by sons Richard L. Elliott and Glenn S. Elliott and wife Stephanie; and a grandson Kyle L. Elliott and wife Breanna; and great grandmother of Harper Claire Elliott; also survived by brothers, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews in Germany; and brother and sister in laws, nieces, nephew and great nieces and nephews here locally as well; several close friends and fellow church members.
Friends may call at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School) on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.
Funeral Liturgy (MASS) will be held Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Community, 915 Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784with Fr. John Worgul officiating.
