He was born January 21, 1941 in Baltimore, MD the son of the late Thomas Rafael Bowling, Sr. and the late Corrine (Esterle) Bowling.
He was a Battalion Chief for Baltimore County Fire Department. Was a Co-Owner of Bay Apparel Silk Screening and Embroidery. An Active Member of H.O. G. (Harley Owners Group) He collected Fire Antiques. Was a Veteran of the US Air Force.
Surviving in addition to his wife are Son James Thomas Bowling of Sykesville, Son and Daughter-in-law Paul Andrew and Tammy Bowling of Thurmont, Daughter Shelley Jean Bowling of Sykesville. Grandchildren Haleigh and Mason Bowling of Thurmont. Sister Bonnie Nater Brothers Glen “Skip” Bowling and Harry “Stubby” Bowling Sister Emily “Mollie” Saia Preceded in death by Sister Corinne Bowling.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, April 18, 2013 10:30 AM at St. Michaels Poplar Springs, 1200 St. Michael Lane Mt. Airy, MD 21771. Interment St. Michael’s Cemetery.
